Makeup Crisis!!!!!! Can u help?

i have a winter ball and i don't know how i should do my makeup. i have fair skin, light brown hair, and brown eyes. my dress is a light blue and sparkly.(silver shoes and handbag)..... so if u have any ideas pleez post an answer. thanxMakeup Crisis!!!!!! Can u help?
I agree with Deana - go to the makeup counter and have a makeover done....just make sure it's about a week before the party, so you will have time to find the products you want (if you don't buy theirs) and experiment with the makeup for yourself.

You don't have to buy everything or anything they suggest, but make a note of the colors they use, and the application, whether heavy or light.

Also, ask the experts what your undertones are...yellow or pink - and are you cool, warm or neutral? Knowing that will arm you with information that will help you at any makeup counter....or drugstore....wherever you purchase cosmetics.

Make sure the products are geared for your skin type - dry, normal, combination, oily, acne-prone...there is a makeup formula that is right for you!

One suggestion - since your shoes and handbag will sparkle, look for eyeshadows with a little shimmer, and use lip gloss over your lip color to give you added shine there too. Getting the color right on your face is half the battle - matching the mood you're going for is the other half. If you're dressy and festive, then your makeup should reflect that!

BTW - from what you describe, I'm guessing that creme and blue for the eyeshadow, and a pink or berry colored lip stain and cheek color to compliment your skintones and dress....but please, let someone who sees you in person tell you for sure!

Most of all, just remember to relax and have fun with it. And enjoy your big night out - sounds great!Makeup Crisis!!!!!! Can u help?
Well, you can of course, always go to a makeup counter. If, however, you are more like me, and would prefer not to do that....try this look.

1) First, apply a liquid foundation that matches your skin tone. I've found that Almay's Smart Shade Foundation is great. It almost exactly fits your skin color.

2) Next, apply some concealer. If you have some pimples, try either Almay's Smart Shade concealer or the Revlon Colorstay Blemish Concealer. If you have undereye circles, try the L'Oreal Bare Naturale Concealer.

3) Make sure you top this all with a loose powder. I am a big fan of Almay's Nearly Naked Loose Powder. It controls oil, sets your makeup, and gives a flawless finish.

4) Next, apply some blush. I really like Covergirl Cheekers Blush in Classic Pink for a pink look, or Maybelline Blush in Dusty Mauve for a more rosy color.

5) Now, for the eyes. I think a great quad that would not only contrast your eyes and make them pop, but also go perfectly with your dress and shoes, is the Maybelline Eye Shadow Quad in Velvet Crush. I really love this quad because it tells you on the package, with a picture included, exactly where to apply all four different colors so it actually turns out looking great. I REALLY think you should get this pallette. I certainly love it! Next, apply a black eyeliner along the OUTER 3/4 of your top lash line. I BEG of you, please, please, please dont put it on too thickly. Trust me, it will RUIN the look. Also, try applying it on the lower waterline in the outer corners of your eyes. I really love the Maybelline Line Stylist Eyeliner in Sparkly Black for more dramatic looks. Next, apply mascara. I'd definitely get waterproof, and get it in black. I like Covergirl Lashblast, Maybelline Line Stylist, and L'Oreal Voluminous.

6) Lastly, some lip gloss. Try the Maybelline Volume Seduction lip glosses, the Covergirl Outlast line, or the Covergirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers.

*Also, in your handbag, make sure to bring alone oil absorbing sheets and a pressed powder. I love Clean and Clear's oil absorbing sheets, and Covergirl's Fresh Look Pressed Powder is great*

I hope I helped, and have fun at the ball!
This makeup instructions will give your eyes a BAM since you have mostly brown shades ( skin) this will make your lips and cheeks look more natural. No one will miss your eyes, trust me.

Materials:

1. different shades of blue eye shadow

2. black eye liner

3. mascara

4. eye lash curler

5. silver eyeshadow

6. Pink blush (not too light and not too dark, just to kind of blend in with your skin, to look a little like your blushin)

7. Light brown lip gloss ( victoria secrets has good ones for 12 buks) make sure it makes you look natural- thats the point

8. liquid base (the color of your skin) pass it before you start, specially above the eyes where the eye shadow goes, it'll stay longer. If you have oily skin pass a little of solid base on top. make sure you spread it evenly.

instructions:

1. Pass the base on your face.

2 Close to the beggining of your eyes (part by nose) put light blue eye shadow there. Then on the other half of your eyes put dark blue (outsides). Use the tip of your fingers to blend in where both meet.

3. Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler (any works fine) and try getting as much eyelashes in it as possible and press hard for 30 seconds. Rite after pass mascara (mine is from revlon and its tottally clump free).

4. Put eyeliner only on from the outsides halfway through the bottom line of your eyes. If you put it really close to the eyes it looks better but also gets off easily.

5. Get silver eyeshadow and pass a thin layer almost where the eyeliner is. On the outsides make it thicker and get thinner as you get to the middle.

6. Pass the blush on your upper part of the cheek bones in a circular motion. Don't spread it over a large area.

This will look great on you, I've tried it myself and i have the same skin tone, eyes and hair. Good luck!!

Ps- to remove the make up pass some body lotion on a piece of toilet paper and pass it where you want to remove it. It works soooo well.
use bronzer on your cheekbones, temples and jawline, and blush on apples of cheeks, use a cream colour eyeshadow all over your eye, and a brown along the crease. use a very dark brown as an eyeliner and use black mascara. keep the lipgloss nude. and use a very bright colour as a liner on the inside of the bottom lid as a highlighter, very pretty for brown eyes;)
I suggest, wearing black liquid eyeliner on your top lid and make it like a ';cat eye'; but not extreme, it looks really pretty if you have light skin and brown eyes and put it on the right way :)

make your eyelashes very volumized too! and maybe add i light blue sparkly eyeshadow on your lid and a white sparkly eye shadow under your brow line!

That would look nice i think haha
go to a makeup counter at macy's ( preferably MAC! )

explain what you are wearing to them and they will help choose the best makeup and do it for you. but you usually have to buy some makeup.
i agree with the above poster, but if thats not an option then i would go for a simple smokey eye, or a bolder silver glitter liner and silver shadow.
