Help with zits/makeup!!!?

whenever i get a zit and i pick at it or i dont, around the zit you can see the skin and when i put on my makeup you can tell i have a zit because the skin is 'ripped' thats the best way i can put it.


-do you know how i can stop this from happening?

It sounds like what your saying is that your zits are getting really red and dry and when you apply makeup, it looks caked on around the zit.





First, wash your face with a mild soap like Dove.


Second, use a face scrub like St. Ives Apricot Scrub and scrub your face focusing a lot around that zit to help remove that dry skin.


Third before bed apply a zit cream or if you want even Neosporin. When you wake up was your face with Dove apply a moisturizer then concealer and your makeup. That should do it!!!

Sometimes makeup just does that (even if you haven't popped the zit) most likely because it is raised up a bit so it is hard to get the whole area evenly. Put a little Visine (or any kind of redness reducing eye drop) on the blemish to get rid of some of the red, and then DAB (don't rub) on your concealer and/or foundation.
Don't put makeup over it, it will only make it worse.


It will block your pores (including the one thats already been blocked to cause the zit). To reduce redness, put an icecube in a facial wipe (wet one) and hold over the zit for a minute or two. Remember to wash your face each day with special facial cleanser... the one I've got is really good, its called Garnier Deep Clean Cream Wash/// I'm not sure whether you have it in your country or not... but there are also a range of other ones that would be good for you.


And another tip: don't put makeup over your zit until its completely gone!
when i have zits i use mary kay's coverage foundation. not only does it covers the zit up, it also makes it go smaller. so i think u should try it. my mom got it for me, i think they sell them at official mary kays store. if ur going to get one pick a foundation that will match ur face. theres light, medium (me), and dark. hope i hepled! good luck!
when you put makeup over the open zit (i'm assuming you have popped it), you are just clogging the pores so it can't breath, thus you create a breeding ground for more zits. don't mess with it and try to leave make up off it.

cover up...use a green cover up...green cancels out red...and than put skin tone cover up over that and you should be good.
