Help with my makeup!!!!!!?

mk im 15 nd i hav blue eyes nd blonde hair (light) nd idk wat makeup wud look gud on me any ideas plz help!!!!!!!Help with my makeup!!!!!!?
Smudge brown eyeliner on your lash lines, it will highlight the color of your eyes and hair. But don't do it too dark or else you should just go for black. But also it depends what look you are going for.

Natural?

Emo/scene?

Going out?

School?

Just depends.Help with my makeup!!!!!!?
try light purple eyeshadow and some brown black mascara

- for the eyeshadow, look at covergirl they have tons, and for your mascara, i would recommend maybelline define a lash in black brown

for your skin, use a concealer like Maybelline mineral power concealer and maybe a light powder for controlling oil like covergirl powder

use a lip balm like softlips and then a light gloss (loreal hip makes great ones)

Hope this helps!!!
Damn! You could use anything. Anything, but blue. Too '60's looking. You could go with a lavender shade, or even that dark, smoky-eyed look. You would look awesome like that. I would really enhance and draw attention to your eyes, especially going out at night. Hope that helps and good luck!
1. Instead of black mascara/eyeliner, try dark brown colors. These are less harsh, especially for those with lighter features.

2. Brown/copper/bronze eyeshadow will bring out the blue color of your eyes. It also tends to look more natural.

3. Lots of sunscreen!

4. Don't wear too much make-up. I am assuming you have light skin, so don't go too heavy with skin stuff or it will look bad. If you have freckles, for instance, let them show.

5. Please try to spell correctly, it is considered ';manners'; online.
For eyes I would go with a light bronze and/or shades of purple. You always want to go with the opposite eye shadow of your eye color to bring your eyes out. You could also go with a light pink and a raspberry shadow.

for cheeks I would go with a light pink blush and a light pink lip. You could also pull off a bright pink or a corral lip to mix it up. If you choose a bright lipstick make sure to tone down the eyes and vice versa. Choose more dramatic makeup for the evening, and consider a nice tinted lipgloss for school. Have fun with it.
I wear black mascara and either dark brown or eggplant liner. its not too dark but it still looks great. i wear dior face lotion and clinique or bare minerals powder. but just a little bit. thats all you really need!

and try spelling things correctly, its annoying otherwise.

if you are new to putting on make-up, go to a department store or sephora and ask when they are giving out free demos. A lot of cosmetics companies will do your make-up for you and give you free samples. That way an expert can show you what colors to use and what are the best techniques.
For your eyebrows, you could go to a salon and get them waxed/shaped $15.

You can wear black mascara

and neutral shades of eyeshadows.

mascara

eyeliner

Help with eye makeup..? ?

Ok I have like, hazel eyes

http://i33.tinypic.com/zy6ioo.jpg

does anyone know like any makeup that would make them like POP.

and are they prettty ? Help with eye makeup..? ?
Don't wear so much eyeliner on the inside of your bottom rim it makes them look smaller. Wear some on top to open the eye or on the bottom like not in the eye. Light purples, golds, dark browns, light greens, coppers, look nice on hazel eyes. Try to bring out the little specs of color in your eye with a lighter color on your lid, then a darker color thats similar to it on the outer edges. I usually do this with gold and black and it opens my eye up alot.

Hi! So I bought this dress in black and red:

    http://estore.websitepros.com/2083434/De鈥?/a>

but I have absolutely no idea how to do my makeup! or how to accessorize...

    Please help!?

    Thanks!=]Help with eye makeup ?
thats such a pretty dress!! for the makeup, go sorta simple. put on some nude eyeshadow, black mascara, and some black eyeliner. (i hafta use a charcoal color because black is too harsh for me) if you want your eyes to pop out more use white eyeliner on your lower waterline. for the accesories use colors that are red and black. in reality you could just wear that dress with some natural looking makeup only and stand out soooooooo much. dont over accesorise at all. lastly for the hair, you could just keep it down. straighten it or curl it or make it wavy. you could also pin up some of it. just remember to keep it natural looking so that you'll have a natural sexiness and let the dress do its work. =)Help with eye makeup ?
Go with a basic smokey eye. Do not overdo your makeup, though, especially if you want the attention in your dress. Wear black pumps with an open toe. Wear pearl earrings for a classic look or dangling earrings if you're going to do an updo on your hair. Always remember never to over accessorize.
if u go for more of the natural look rather than trying to figure out how to incorperate the red then it will look great.
you can't go wrong with black and red! try searching xsparkage on youtube, she has absolutely amazing tutorials! for accessories get some cute black pumps, a red satin clutch, and a simple black crystal necklace. good luck!!
if i were you, i would just apply a light brown shade all over the lid, a darker shaded brown in crease and to add more depth, i'd add black to the outer corners going a bit into the crease
since the dress is not fully covered at top, wear necklace..

for ur eyes, since the dress is almost black, use a darker tones of eyeshadow..

    grey,black..

    simple..

    Help me with makeup!?

right im going to a party as an army girl( a sexy army girl)

ive got some brown and green face paint to do a lil bit on my cheeks

how should i do my eye makeup though?

    steps would be useful!!

im thnking smokey eyes but ive got no idea how to do it!

    piks would help too

    THANKYOUU!! XHelp me with makeup!?
Ok, we are going to try and achieve this look:

http://www.wikihow.com/images/6/6e/Sexy_smokey_eye_146.JPG -sorry my first link didn't work- Copy and Paste!

(It may not look as professional when you do it though)

It would be a good idea to have:

1 Black or dark gray eyeshadow

    2 Eyeshadow brush

3 Liquid OR pencil eyeliner (I prefer liquid)

4 A good mascara (Or the best one you've got)

Ok, now, here's what you do:

1 Apply black eye pencil/liquid liner on the top and bottom of the inside of your eyes making sure the black blends into the eyelash line.

2 Apply a neutral shade all over your lids right up to the brow.

3 Apply a darker shade such as dark brown or gray to the outer corner of your eyelid just up to the crease. Blend in well. Gradually build up to your desired colour.

4 Use a black pencil/liquid liner to line the top of your lashes and smudge it in with a cotton bud.

5 To finish the look, apply lots of mascara, but stop before your lashes start to clump. Two coats of a volumizing mascara should be sufficient.

**** When applying the eyeliner/mascara, rest your elbow on a table and look down at the mirror. This helps your hand to stay steady, so if you are like me, it helps prevent you from messing up!****

If it doesn't look great the first time, you can always wash it off and try it again. Oh, and don't forget to use some black face paint, pencil, or lol eye shadow would work to, I guess, and apply whatever you chose to add those football player things lol. Just a thought... And I wouldn't wear too much lip gloss... And I'd suggest you put your hair up and put on a camoflauge hat on and have the pon stickin out the back with strands of hair falling out in front of your face. Well that sounds fun, so have a good time! I hope I helped! God Bless!

get a green and brown theme eye makeup set, one from neutrogena ( u can get them at walmart or walgreens, very easy) ones that have the lid, crease, browline, and corner labels on them. Apply the lighter green, aka lid, one first while your eye is slightly open. Then, where you see the light green ends, close that eye and follow that line - the crease, with the darker green, aka, crease. Then put a VERRRY small amount of the darker brown, aka, corner, and even though it says to only put it on the very out corner of the TOP LID and slightly blend it in, but also do it on the very inner corner TOP LID ( not where the eyelid lines meet - be careful of that). Take th lighter tan, aka brow, put it underneath the arch of your brows, and the outer and inner corners of where the two lids meet. Blend it in just a LITTLE bit.

Buy Black Eyeshadow and Black Liquid Eyeliner. Apply Black Eyeshadow around your entire eye then go back in and fill in close to eye with the Black Liquid Eyeliner. Simple enough... NOT REALLY... you may want to invest in a magnifying mirror so you can see your eye close up... the thing about liquid eyeliner is, if you mess it up your screwed!

Your hair is already perfect for that Emo Girl look you are seeking. You could put some dark red or dark purple streaks in it.Help With Emo Makeup?
DONT BE EMO!!!! why do you want to look depressed? dont cut yourself
Why the hell would you want to be an emo? Everybody I know makes fun of emos.....I actually saw three emo guys getting beat up last week in Cleveland (probably because they were wearing girls pants). Anyway, if you want to look like the girls in those pictures, just ask somebody to give you a couple of shiners and don't go in the sun for a few weeks....same result.
Why do you want to look like and emo - looking depressed isn't a good look. Just do what suits you and don't do it just because others are.
Okay first off, ignore those jerks that are knocking down the emo kids. You could consider me emo so I'm probably the best candidate to answer this question.

It has NOTHING to do with foundation, or cover up. Don't use it, its a waste. The same with black lip stick. It just makes you appear as a poser. No one will take you seriously.

Use black Maybelline New York, Water Proof Liquid Eyeliner. You can buy it at drugstores or even super markets. I use the same.

Apply it slowly and from the side of your eye thats close to your nose and then move slowly toward the opposite direction. The bottom of your eye you have to apply it where your lower eye lashes attaches to the lid.

    Slow is the key. =]
use the eye liner and eye shadow heavily dont b soft with it

ppl i don't get why being emo is so bad..ppl portray in a stupid stereotype but its actually just a style now..i like the style and i like the makeup and stuff to...they got beaten up from how they dressed? thats lame..if sumone wants to dress like that then let them who cares..i happen to think emo boys are hott i like the skinny, tight pants
    try to cut bangs!
ok first all i really should'nt b telling u dis because emo's and rocker's r suposed 2 b original but i had th same problem wen i turned rocker ........ok the first picture you have on there is alot like my mke-up style....lot's of black nd a little color.....wen you use lots of eyeliner u have 2 use waterproof!!!! and wat you do it use a foundation 1 shade lighter then your skin color...then i use like a nude but still noticable lipgloss.....as 2 cat eyes all i can say is practice...but you can start w/ an egiption eye and then work 4rum there. always make sure they're even! and if you want 2 add a little color simply do a little dusting at like the end of the brow or in the very inside of you're eye right next 2 your nose.

also you're gonna get critized but dont worry you friends will get used 2 it and if they dont f*** them they were'nt real friends anyway...lol......best of luck!if u need anymore help wb.
Well. You need pale foundation and powder. In large amounts. Get creative with large amounts of eyeliner and black eyeshadow. Not really a step by step thing. Just make up in large amounts done in an interesting way.

some tips for putting on foundation are:

When choosing a color stay with the lightest possible shade to achieve a younger appearance.

Dot your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin with foundation.

Using a wedge sponge or a foundation brush smooth the dots of makeup out toward your hairline and down toward your neck, covering your entire face and lips. The coverage should end just below the jaw line. Blend carefully to avoid any lines of demarcation.

For sheer coverage dampen your sponge with water.

For regular coverage use sponge or brush dry.

    Hope I helped!

I stopped using eyeliner a while ago coz it always smudges. Instead i put on black eyeshadow with an eyeliner brush which is about a cm/half an inch wide but flat in shape and it looks exactly the same as using eyeliner, is really easy and quick to put on and i find it stays on all day as well

I have to admit i've used a few different foundations and none of them have ever lasted all day, even the ones which say they do. I end up just doing a quick cover up with concealer during the day
i tried lots of foundation and the best foundation that last more then 16 hours is rimmil

    HELP with eye makeup!!!!

I need a new eye makeup look for the school year (subtle but there)

I have brown hair, brown/hazel eyes/ medium tan skin tone

Thank you in advanceHELP with eye makeup!!!!
i have features similar to yours. schools dont really allow heavy makeup anyway but i agree that you should go subtle (but let it be noticeable.) i would use a beige or brown-colored eyeliner (anything from sand to copper would work, and i like maybelline or covergirl, but whichever you'd prefer.) then i would use a shimmery gold eyeshadow from the lid to crease... i like mac eyeshadow in goldmine. hazel eyes are good to play around with, so you can use a deep purple or green too, like the covergirl queen collection eyeshadows. then, depending on your preference, use a dark brown or black (or even brown/black) mascara, concentrating on the corner lashes for a cat-eye feel ( l'oreal telescopic mascara works wonders!!!)

to top it all off, go easy on the rest of your makeup. nude-colored glosses on your lips balance well.

good luck. hope this helped !HELP with eye makeup!!!!
it'll b september u start right so natural, warm colours i think!

I'd put a soft pink colour blush on the apples of your cheeks and a bit on the end of your nose ( looks cute, but don't put on so much that you look like a mouse or something! ) then I'd line the outer corners of your eyes with a dark brown eyeliner and then apply couple of coats of a good lengthening mascara =] voila!!

    xx
You could put a thin line of brown eyeliner on your lower lashes, curl your upper lashes, and put a thin coat of clear mascara on your upper and lower lashes.
Publix, Cvs, and Walgreen's, carry the Covergirl queen collection.

    Help me with makeup tricks!?

i have greenish eyes and i really want the color to just POP out. how can i do this look? i also have fair skin and light blonde hair so idk if that makes some kind of difference..Help me with makeup tricks!?
    No !

Lavenders%26amp;%26amp; Dark purples could be too dark for your eyes.

what you should really do is get a really pretty light green eyeliner, and line the top or you eye lid right above your lashes.

and then find a really shimmery green eye shadow.

that will make your eyes really pop.

its fresh, and won't look like you caked a bunch of makeup on your face

    (:Help me with makeup tricks!?
You could use lavenders and plum makeups but on fair skin that tends to look totally 80s! try coating your eyeliner in something that has a blueish purple shine to it. I use all things MAC and find that the glitter pigments with that type of shine really make mine pop. For daytime try a pale pink or peach if you can pull it off with your fair skin. Play with colors that you love and you will quickly find what works and what doesnt.
dye your hair red that would make your eyes look ahmazing
use purples, lavenders a plum eyeliner to make your shade pop out. also dark greens are good one. also try a cream colored or white eyeliner to make your eyes appear bigger.
do a dark purple or sparkly blue eyeshadow.
hmm... well, oyu could wear a grayish color. that willl make them pop. but dont put too much on, its tacky. you could also try a shimmery shade thats close to the shade of your skin tone, it will look adorable.

just try different shade and see what looks the best. thats the best ways to find out what oyu like best.

    good luck=D

    School -

    Natural looking base

Not to heavy on the eyes

    For going out/friends house -

You can go a bit heavier on your eyes.

    Party -

Heavy eyes, try Urban Decay, they do really great eye makeup, i love them. They do really bright colours and they look good by them selves or blended into each other

    Date -

Similar, but make sure you look very sophisticated
umm ill try and help =D

school - seeing as its school try and keep it a bit subtle, maybe just a bit of eyeliner, kohls best.

going out - ...dunno soz :(

party - oooooo what about...thick eyeliner, with brown and black eyeshadow on ur top eyelid and just below ur bottom one, and then red lipstick to just try and do the whole, seducing kinda look.

friends house - u can just do subtle here as well, it isn't like u need to impress anyone at ur mates house.

date - pale lipstick that kinda blends in with ur face color, or a light pink lipgloss, and then make ur eyes really stand out, if uve got blue eyes use black eyeliner and dark brown eyeshadow, if uve got brown use green eyeshadow and eyeliner and if uve got brown use a dark blue eyeshadow [or silver] with eyeliner, and a mascara that seperates ur eyelashes like maybelline.

i've heard about how Bare Escentuals is really good and it's good for your skin? i want to try the foundations and powders and stuff but i don't know where to start :/ also.. do you think the price is worth it? do the products last long? approx how long do they last? are there any affordable products in local drug stores that give you the same look and is easy to use?I want to try Bare Escentuals but i don't know where to get started! any makeup experts here willing to help?
I use Bare Escentuals and I did purchase it from Sephora.com but only when they have good sample give aways.(if you sign up for their emails you will find out when they have them) I also have purchased it at Ulta. It is a bit pricey but it is so worth it. I have tried going back to liquid just to see and I hated and my skin hated it too. You can even sleep in it and your skin looks better in the morning!! I love the night time minerals and the vitamin liquid too. I do not care for the eye shadow, it is too messy and bit too drying. I do use other more moisturizing under eye cover up, I found the powder to be too drying too. Make sure that you get the bronzing powder for creating depth under your cheek bones and the sides of your nose...it is great!! I do like the highlighting powder too to add dimension to your skin so that your skin doesn't come off as flat. They have some blush colors but I prefer Nars blush because it has a bit of luster in it and it goes on really nice and not streaky. I finish off everything with the mineral veil which makes your skin look flawless and if you get shiny use blotting papers instead of any other powder( in a pinch the toilet see paper works too!!!tip from style.com).

I am 43 and everyone thinks that I am in my late 20's or early 30's and always compliment my skin...so I think it is worth it!!!!I want to try Bare Escentuals but i don't know where to get started! any makeup experts here willing to help?
ohh yess the price IS worth it.my friend bought one about 2 years ago and still has it.im pretty sure there are but bare essentials is a lot healthier for your skin.you see,you can make it look great without using much of it.that same friend of mine just taps the lid before opening, opens it,then gets the powder thingy stuff from the lid-and theres barely any on there but its just enough to put on your face
    they have a web site
I think that the price is worth it. You can find them at Sephora, Ulta, %26amp; QVC. I love this stuff! Walgreens carries a similar type of make-up. But I have not tried it so I could not tell you if its any good or not. Walgreens is a southern drug store chain, but they do have an online site you can try.
I just bought this stuff last week in a spa in my town. Amazing! I have some fine lines and mild to moderate acne and it works wonderful!! Get it wherever you can, it is worth it!
yes, its totally affortable.. i say you go into your closest Sephora or ULTA and have them pick your color! GO FOR IT GIRL!

    goood luck
It is a very good makeup and great for your complexion but also very messy to work with since everything is in a powder form. The kit lasted me about 2 mths and I didn't repurchase because of the expense and the messiness.I think it is too overpriced but it's up to you how much you want to spend.Good luck!
i think it is worth the price. i used to be a makeup junky, but now all i use is bare escentuals. well i dont use the eyeshadows, but i use the foundation, mineral veil, warmth, blush and mascara. i bought the starter kit from sephora for $60. i was a little bit worried about the price, but if you buy it from there and you dont like it you can return it in 60 days. i bought the kit in August 2006 and i still have alot of foundation, blush and warmth. it does last a long time b/c less is more. i only wear make-up 4 days a week, so this might be why it has lasted such a long time but thats ok with me..lol..the only thing i have needed to buy more of is the mineral veil b/c i live in a humid place and i use the mineral veil the most, it is the best to use to cover up your large pores and keeping the shine away. i use the mineral veil to freshen up at the end of the day, but i still look like i have the rest of my makep up on. that never happened when i used liquid foundation and powder..... anyways if you want to try some i suggest using ebay to buy samples. the samples are small, like 1/2 a tablespoon, but trust me that is enought for atleast two weeks. just remember less is more. just email me if you need any help deciding on a color for your foundation.

    i hope i helped

    1. apply a redbrown/dark pink tone or bronze all over your eyelid.

    2. apply a light sort of peach colour in your crease.

    3. a light purple in the inner corner and along your lash line.

    4. with your finger, blend.

i'd suggest don't use black eyeliner. 13 year olds can get a little carried away with it! i know from personal experience. i used it like a try hard. if you want to use it just use it along the top lid on yoru lash line, or just on the outer corner to define eyes.

i'd suggest a grey eyeliner on the bottom lid because it suits everyone and also gives you a softer look.

with yoru eyes you MUST use black black mascara! curl lashes and apply the mascara. it looks great on green eyes.

a light blush swept on yoru cheekbones will look really pretty and polished. for a more sunkissed look sweep some bronzer on cheeks instead. this will also give you a more awake look if you missed out on sleep.

i'd reccomend to skip the foundation for now. instead just use a concealor to cover up the pimples. never apply too much or it can look very ageing. just under the eyes to cover up darkness and on pimples. if you do want to use foudnation instead use a tinted moisturiser, (also good if you want to ';wakeup'; more) or mix the liquid foundation with a moisturiser to make it more sheer.

have fun! What kind of makeup should I wear and how! PLEASE HELP?
    Eye-shadow-

    Help with eye makeup?

Hi, i have hazel eyes and i used black pencil eyeliner first....but it made my eyes look too dark and intimidating...so for a softer look, i shifted to brown eye-liner but i felt that there was no difference between the two and the ultimate result was still a domineering look....so i think tht maybe eyeliners don't suit me..but without eyeliner, i feel tht my eyes look veyr pale at work.....is there any other makeup trick or something to make my eyes look defined yet soft....should i apply mascara daily to make it look more defined?..plz helpHelp with eye makeup?
    Hazel eyes- pretty!

Have you tried a deep forest green? Green looks so pretty with hazel and brown eyes. I would go for a shimmering style to soften the look, and use a brown mascara rather than a black.

Maybe because you're not used to eye make-up, it feels like the look is a lot more strong than what it is. I would apply the pencil to the lower lids, with a dash of brown mascara and ask the opinions of your friends. What seems overkill to you, might be 'hot' to other people. But then, it's your own skin :-) You can only do what makes you comfortable.

You could always use a tiny smudge of eyeshadow on your top lid (and I mean VERY tiny), and use eyelash curlers and clear mascara to make your eyes widen more?

Another trick to make your eyes stand out is to pull your hair away from your face and wear less/nude lipstick, as it draws more attention to your eyes than anywhere else on your face.

Good luck! Sure you'll look nice :)Help with eye makeup?
I Have Hazel eyes and im a makeup artist so heres what i would do.... Green liner!!! and yes a woman should always wear mascara green liner keeps in soft yet defined... and im sure youll get a lot of complements
try mascara and natural colour eyeshadow
smudge a line of dark brown eyeshadow across the top of your eyelid - that will work
I have brown eyes and to enhance brown eye color you should draw closer to purple, pink, and purplelish pinks. I would mainly suggest the purple.

You should also use mascara and not the eyeliner. I try my best not to go a day without eyeliner, but when I lost it I used the mascara at the top and bottom and it serves almost the same purpose as the eyeliner, but a more softer look.

Read the cosmopolitan, seventeen, and hair mags. They give alot of tips on eye make-up concerning the color of your eyes.
I personally got my eyeliner tattoo'ed on - tops only. It was the best thing I ever did! Now, I don't have to mess around trying to get it to look right. I would suggest that you try a dark brown or dark purple eye shadow - try putting it on just as you would your eyeliner and smudge it just a bit. It usually looks great on everyone. And, if you're still not satisfied, just use a nice eye shadow and mascara to make your eyes pop! I stopped lining the bottom of my eye because it does tend to make your eyes look smaller. Another good trick is to use your blush as eye shadow. I thought my friend was crazy when she told me a professional make-up artist told her to do this, but I never received so many compliments on my eyes as I did when I started doing this. It really opens up your eyes and makes them pop.
use blue eyeliner ,blue eye shadow and blue mascara or use pink eye shadow and an eye liner that u thinks looks good with it like may be black mascara would look good with pink eye shadow but u dont want to use black mascara but u might want to try it with light or dark pink eye shadow so any way u could mix and match any of these if u would like but try it the way i put them frist before u mix and match. and i dont think using mascara daily would make any difference. p.s ther eye liners u could try are light or dark purple or pink if there any there are pink. other colours of mascara u could use are ones that are not to dark but not to light like blue that i already talked about and purple if there are any that colour. u could try use mascaras that gives ur eye lashes an extra left .
Try putting Mascara on your top lashes only. And black liner on the inside of your bottom eyelid (above lashes). Makes your eyes stand out more.
double it up. you still are a double bagger

    1) Take your cues from the photographer %26amp; art director.

    2) Have mattifier or sheer powder on hand to minimize oil. Have a bit of lip balm or Vaseline on hand for lips. Vaseline can also be used to tame brows %26amp; just touch to lengthen lashes. You can use clear mascara instead - it's a bit neater %26amp; won't smear.

    3) Check out some men's fashion magazines or websites to see if you have stuff on hand to create some of the looks. Practice them in your head; imagine what you'd do.

    Good luck!
Makeup for me. I would suggest you make sure that his skin is clean. If you decide to use foundation...I suggest mixing it with a moisturizer...so it looks more natural and dewy. Powder with loose powder or press powder if you need more coverage of a matte finish. Avoid the cheeks. Then add concealer according.

Then I would use a bronzer that does not have any shimmer or glitter in it. I would apply a dash of light cheek color.

For the lips...I would just line it with a natural lip color and add some lip balm on top of it to blend. T

Then for the eyes...I usually just add a eye makeup base to the lids and then apply some mascara to the lash line (very lightly)and use a clean brush to brush it through.
DO NOT USE EYELINER or heavy at least.. its ugly. Also clear mascara might be a good idea, it increases eyelash volume without color, and some light concealer to hide any blemishes and cheek bone highlights, since a sculptured look is usually desirable.

http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii59/鈥?/a>I need help with eye makeup?
    Components:

    -Eyeliner

Top of eye: You might need to use liquid eyeliner, but don't fear. Practice a couple of times, and even if you mess up a little, use a damp Q-tip cotton swab and just wipe the mess up so that it becomes nice, smooth, and even. Get as close to the eye lash as possible. Make sure it's a thin line, not thick. At the end of the eye (outside, side not close to the nose) bring out the eyeliner just a little curve (like a tip).

*You can use pencil eyeliner if you absolutely prefer it.

    Bottom of eye:

I use a pencil eyeliner for the bottom. Go across the entire bottom of the eyelid, but don't run it too dark. Make it lighter at the part of the eye close to the nose and darker at the outside end. Run it out to meet the the little curve tip of the upper eyeliner.

    Eye shadow:

Use a couple of shades of this shiny brown, greyish eye shadow. Use an eye shadow brush, not the little things that come with the eye shadow. You want to add dimension to the eye. If your eye bones are deep, it isn't much of a problem. Anyway, use a darker shadow shade to brush the eye's deep part, that crease between the eyeball and brow bone. Exaggerate the part of the crease at the ends (outsides) of the eyes away from the nose once again. Blend the shadow in toward the eyelash, not out toward the eyebrow. Use a lighter color, though not skin light, to fill in.

    Mascara:

Make sure it's black, but I'm sure you know how to put that on. Just make sure it's a good couple of layers and doesn't clump.

    Eyelash curler:

    Must use!

    Also wear foundation.

I hope this helps and that I haven't been so detailed that it's confusing.

*It also helps to watch the makeover shows that show you visually instead of in writing, if you're interested.I need help with eye makeup?
To pull of this look you need:

    Dark brown eyebrow pencil

    Black mascara

    Black eyeliner

    White, grey, and black eyeshadow

Fake lashes (optional, but the model in your pic is wearing them)

    1. First, brush eyebrow w/ a clean mascara wand. Use the eyebrow pencil to darken your eyebrows. Then, use the clean mascara wand to blend the color into your eyebrows.

    2. Swipe the white eyeshadow from lid to brow bone. Then apply the grey shadow to your eyelids only. Apply more in the corners of your eyes like in the pic. Then, use the black shadow to blend into the crease of your eyes. If you use an angled eyeshadow brush it'll help you create the winged look of the eyeshadow.

    3. Apply black eyeliner to the top and bottom of lids.

    4. Swipe on tons of layers of black mascara for a dramatic feel.

You may want to practice first. Good Luck.

ok go to walgreens and buy a 4 color palette from maybelline. make sure you have a black, charcoal, silvery kinda color, and a white in the 4 color palette. swipe the darkish silvery color over the eyelid, then use the charcoal in the crease, then use the white on your browbone, then take the black and use it on the outside crease.

    OR

take the black and swipe it across your lid, then take the charcoal and use in the crease, swipe the white on your brow bone, and use the silvery color near the bottom lash line to accent the eyes and make them pop and also use the silver color in the inside corners of your eyes

i actually prefer the second one, but the first one is how they tell you to do it. but the second looks better. remember, for a smokey eye you need to blend well and smudge, make sure it all looks gradient instead of blocked colors. hope this helped.
Line the top lid close to the lashline and the bottom lid on the inner part and at the lashline and smudge the bottom line. You probably also need fake lashes at the corners, then curl and use mascara. If you are a blonde, I'd do with a dark brown or navy liner for your brown eyes.

OK, I looked again and she does have at least two shades of gray on her lids; what the other person said about buying the quad of shadow is spot-on. Make sure its a warmer gray because the cool grays can sometimes look blue and clownish.
It looks like she had a gray/silver eyeshadow on her eye above and below, do use a brush to sweep the shadow over your eyelid and a smaller brush to line on the bottom, just thinly, almost like a liner, bring it up to meet the top shadow at a point like in the picture.

Take liquid liner and put a thin line of it at the lash on the top, and a bit on the waterline of your lower lid.

Curl your eyelashes if you have to and then apply mascara on top and a bit on the bottom.
dont make it more difficult then it really is[:

its just eyeliner, that is wider on the outer sides, and thinner on the inside.

    Try using a liquid eyeliner.

And curl your lashes, and use a black mascara.

Before curling your lashes, hold a blow dryer to the curler for about 10 seconds, it allows your lashes to curl better.

put a white eye shadow from your brow to the crease of your eye, and then a black from the outside of the lower to the middle, then blend it outwards.
hmmm i would say this tutorial:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j4Avp7ttyU
eye liner, mascara, liquid eye liner, n blak/grey eye shadow, concealer
i would say a very thick mascara with a dark eyeliner on top and bottom. also, a gray green eye shadow brushed on! hope this helps!

I need help with eye makeup!

Hello! I'd just like a little help with eye makeup. My eyes are grayish blue. I have fair skin and auburn hair. I always try to do bold colors because it seems fun and I like how it looks on other people, but either I don't know how to put it on right or it just doesn't look good. I can put on mascara fine and eyeliner (not liquid) on the bottom, but I'm not so good at applying it on top. I'd love any tips on what I should do, thank you!I need help with eye makeup!
for lining the top of your eye, don't use a pencil as it can look sloppy. Try powder and an angle brush to slightly 'feather' the top the the eye. Then apply your eye shadow above the line you just made. Make sure to slightly blend the colors.I need help with eye makeup!
There are plenty of websites on the internet that can teach you to apply eye make up exactly the way you want it...but it does take a little practice at first.

Start off by washing your face %26amp; hands, then apply some moisturizer. After that, apply foundation %26amp; concealer where you need to. Next, use an oil absorbant powder finish, especially underneath the eyes and the lids. Doing this prepares your face for the makeup and helps it look more professional %26amp; can stay on longer

also, buying one of those mirrors that light up and magnify is wonderful because it helps you with difficult details!
You can do a light pink! Dab the eyeshadow on though.

They eyeliner use liquid it's easier if you can't then close one eye open the other do ONE smooth stroke don't try to fix it, it will only look worse.

P.S. You foundation to even out your skin.Make sure there are no sharp tips on your eyeliner! Take all your make up off before you go to bed or it's going to get messy and your going to get dry skin that's a no no!

    Anyway

I need help with eye makeup!!?

So i have medium skin tone and brown eyes and brown hair. I saw in a magazine that guys like the smokey eye but my friend who ';knows everything'; says i should stick to ONLY light eyeshadow. I see people with my same features wear dark eye shadow!! Can you guys give me your opinions?? Thanks a lot!!I need help with eye makeup!!?
It really depends what features of your face you want to pronunciate, and where you want to create the contrast.

I have brown hair and eyes too, and medium tone skin, and generally if I use dark eye shadow, for my lips I apply a light, natural color(preferably lip gloss). Hence , the accent comes on my eyes.

However, I use light eye make up to create contrast when I use a stronger lip color . The result is, of course, that the lips are accentuated. Also, I use light eye make up( sometimes as a simple line drawn with a white or light blue pencil, and a bit of white eye shadow right beneath the arc of eyebrows) when I apply face make up that is dark.

It is all about contrast.I need help with eye makeup!!?
I'd say your friend is wrong. I love the smokey eye look, and I am a brunette with a medium skin tone with brown eyes too. And what's great about smokey eyes, is you don't have to just do a dark smokey eye. You can do all kinds! Here's some great kits...

For the typical smokey eye: http://www.stilacosmetics.com/product_de鈥?/a>

For a softer, bronzed smokey eye: http://www.stilacosmetics.com/product_de鈥?/a>

Or for a fun, emerald smokey eye: http://www.stilacosmetics.com/product_de鈥?/a>

Any of these would look great on you. With having brown hair and brown eyes, strong darker eye colors will actually help you eyes pop more.
Ok, I just looked at my Allure make-up book. Here's what I found:

beauty myth: your eye shadow should match your eye color. Matching your makeup to your eye color can look tacky. Choose a shade that creates contrast: gold for brown eyes.

Some of the pictures show girls with brown hair and eyes and they have this light bluish gray eye makeup.

Just keep experimenting and you'll find what looks most striking on you. :)
It matters what you want to do not what your friends say go and do it I think they maybe jelous that you'll look prettier cause they people with your features with tha make up? so just give it a try and see if your like it and btw if your need help with doing a smokey eye just search it on youtube.com I know a guru that's great at doing smokey eyes here name is: QueenofBlendingMUA just search that in the search bar

good luck finding a makeup artist on yahoo

hahahaaaConcealer %26amp; foundation help ! (i prefer makeup artist)?
I am not a make up artist sorry but i have always heard that you should get a concealer that is a shade lighter than your foundation. You apply concealer on what needs to be concealed... Like undereye circles. blemishes, ect. Apply it before foundation
Im not a makeup ARTIST, but i can help you!

For foundation, I would use the queen collection by covergirl. It is designed for darker skin tones, and im sure they have concealer as well.

Concealer is normally used to hide under- eye circles and blemishes. If you do not have any of these things, it would be best not to use concealer.

You will apply your makeup preferably in the morning, and add concealer touchups throughout the day- if you are an active person, that is. If you are in high school, you could just re- apply in the bathroom or during lunch break.

    good luck!

I need help with my makeup.?

I reaaallly like this guy. And he asked me out on a date.! I'm really excited, but I'm not so great with makeup, what should I do?I need help with my makeup.?
you could use some foundation or cover up,

and also wear some mascara and eye shadow.

as for your lips, lip gloss will do.

i encourage you to stay away from blush though.

also if you want to add some body shimmer or sparkles that would be cute too. :)

+ answer my questions?I need help with my makeup.?
    Ohh that's so exciting!

    Good for you! (:

Well it really depends on what you're starting with.

If you usually wear make up then don't go overboard just for the date, guys don't like over-excessive fake faces.

You should probably just go really light, skin colored concealer if you need it, smudge a little eyeliner on your lash line, just so it's kinda enhanced but not overly obvious, put a little eye shadow near your lash line if you really feel like it, mascara is always good, just don't coat it on a billion times.

You can also put mascara on your bottom lashes which looks natural and enhances your eyes a little more.

then you wanna smile real big at the mirror and dab a little blush on the apples of your cheeks, then blend it in.

It's worth it to invest in that long wear lipgloss too, because it's gives your lips shine without the fake clown look of lipstick.

So light on the lip gloss too.

And you should look pretty good after all that.

But remember, the most attractive thing is confidence, so be yourself, know that you look amazing, and just have fun (:

REALLY need help with eye makeup...?

My friends say I wear too much. I just blend three neutral colors, wear eyeliner, and mascara. Can someone post pictures or just give advice on how to wear eye makeup.

thanks!REALLY need help with eye makeup...?
You probably do not wear to much, your friends probably just aren't use to girls wearing makeup. I know girls who blend their makeup perfectly, but someone seems to always say something negative about it because in this day and age people have been so brainwash where they feel makeup is a bad thing and some type of thing to cover-up a person's real facial features. (Which is very false)

Makeup is amazing, and if you are blending three neutral colors, I highly doubt you have to much going on. However if you would like more makeup up tips I would highly suggest youtube.

Hope I helpedREALLY need help with eye makeup...?
Try only using one color, and make sure its a light shade of pink or purple.

For your eyeliner, to make it less noticeable, just put a thin line on your waterline. It disappears quickly, but it looks nice even though its gone. Plus you can always reapply it if you have an eyeliner in your purse.

Mascara, when you put it on, wiggle the wand side to side because it gets all of your lashes. Then they all look the same so its hard to tell you're wearing mascara.
lol if i ever figure out how to post a pic on this thing i will do it...

but i think i use a fair amount of eye makeup (or alot of steps at least), but it never looks like i'm wearing alot at all.

i use a pale neutral (or cream) all over the lid, then i put the next deeper shade just in the inside corner of my eye, and the darkest shade just over the lid, not too high up.

sometimes i use eyeliner but just a very thin line on the tops of my eyes, rarely on the bottom. and one coat of black mascara.
On YouTube there's this lady (user name Panacea81) who's AMAZING with eye makeup tutorials. Very easy to follow (videos are only around 15 min. long), she has a pleasant accent, and she does all different kinds of makeup.

If you're just blending three neutral colors then thats not really that much. Even if you also have eyeliner on and mascara. Just test out different make up, and eyeshadows and stuff and see what fits you best and what you like to wear. Hope i helped (:
Thats not alot of makeup, thats pretty simple, you can also go to a makeup consultant for example mac, sephora, etc... and ask them for makeup that gives you a really natural look

Jus wear a neutral eye shadow and a mascara eyeliner is a little bit to much for an every day ocassion
that's not alot of makeup at all. that's quite typical.

    answer my question please?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
Well iwear a concealer...a powder...some bronzer...with light blush...then mascara and eyeliner. That's all you need.
just wear what you want. make sure the liner is black or brown, and try making the colors so they make your eye color pop. but put it on kinda lightly
You might want to have a look at panacea81's account on youtube, She's amazing with eye makeup.

  • I need help putting on makeup!!!?

Ok, so I have Clinque- Pefectly Real Makeup as my foundation and Clinque- Gentle Light Powder brush as the powder. I need help and advice on putting it on and making it look flawless. Does anyone have this combination and mind telling me how you put it on??I need help putting on makeup!!!?

i hope this helps!I need help putting on makeup!!!?
If you have liquid foundation, use a face primer before you put it on. It'll help the foundation glide easier on the face. Some places may need more foundation than others so put more in some areas that may need more. Places like at the corners of your mouth, around your nose, or the areas near the eyebrows. Then lightly dust the powder all over the face to set the foundation with a powder brush. If you are using a powder foundation, then you just have to keep swiping it on the face until you have enough coverage. A brush with really full bristles would help, like a kabuki brush.
I use Clinique and I love it. Dab foundation on forehead, cheeks, chin, and eyes. Dampen a wedge sponge from the drugstore. Blend the foundation using downward and outward strokes. Pay close attention to blending around the hairline and jawline; blend edges with a tissue if needed. After ALL of your makeup is on, use a fluffy brush (instead of the applicator) to dust the powder over your face and eyes, and you're done.
Make sure you blend in the makeup together to make it look natural and flawless, and put a lot of light powder under and around the eyes to look fresh and awake, but don't put to much, just put enough to hide any blemishes and a tip: when you hide any thing with cover up just put enough then put blush over it to make it blend in with the rest of your skin.
If you wear foundation during the day... that's kind of heavy coverage so I always put about a dime size of lotion in my hand with a drop of foundation ... blends in much better without being to heavy looking. As far as powder goes If I wear both it is always at night.... Pick one or the other, but in my opinion during the day you will look like a freak wearing both.

Concealer and powder are my pick for daytime wear... I love the Kabuki brush from bare essecentuals ... it gives the best powder application (flawless) less is more ...don't over do it
well what i do, is i put on the foundation on first and make it all the same color on your face.

after that i put on the power and make sure to get every inch of your face.

once your done with that, i take some toilet paper and just brush it over my face, but not a whole lot to make it look natural

    hope that helps. good luck!

    ~Crystal
i have the same foundation, what you do is you take a foundation brush and add a dime size amount on your brush, start from the center of your face(nose) and spread out the foundation evenly, but not toooo much so it doesnt look cakey. then you just brush on your powder, simple as that.
put a little foundation on ur finger and dab a little under ur eyes on ur nose, forehead, chin, and cheeks after u put the dabs wear u want them and then take both hands and rub it in until u r happy with it then get powder on the brush and lightly brush it over ur face!
The best advice I have is to use makeup sponges. This will really give you a flawless look for your foundation. Then apply powder all over. Loose powder works much better than pressed for a flawless look.
just blend in good. and make sure its your RIGHT color... i dont use powder because powder often makes the makeup look caked on.. just blend really well. and remember the point of makeup is to make it look as natural as possible.

It takes a little bit into this short video on how to put it on, but it helps! You don't hear words, but they are written on to the side of the video!

    Hope this helps=) Good luck!
Here, I have some great make-up in a ';tube'; for your face. It's just takes a few minutes to put on.

What a dumb question, so you get a dumb answer. You poor thing... :(
Blend in the foundation in with your skin and then brush on the powder for a flawless finish it pretty easy
    use a mirror
you have to blend it in on the right areas where your skin tone isnt as clear as the rest
get someone 2 do it for you

Ladies!! Need help with the makeup!?

Okay, So I have almost black hair. Its just really dark brown. Pale skin. Blue green eyes. Any ideas on some cute eye make up ideas?

Details please, Thanks! =)Ladies!! Need help with the makeup!?
Hi, I think you should try A dark brown eyeshadow and then put over some creamy color eyeshadow over that. Then Get black eyeliner and put it almost right on top of your eyelashes at the top of your eye (NOT the bottom the top) Then get black mascara and put it on both the bottom and the top of your eyelashes. Then for your lips put some lip balm on first and then some gloss over that. Also when your done that put the color of your skins conceler under your eyes for any dark spots if any.

K well I really hope that helps.Ladies!! Need help with the makeup!?
You might want to steer clear of the blue eye makeup. No offense to everyone who suggested it, but in the cosmetic classes I've taken %26amp; numerous makeovers I've given, blue almost always looks fake %26amp; unattractive. A bit too '80's, even the nice shades.

I agree about the smokey eye effect. Take a charcoal or dark brown eye liner and apply it to your lower lid %26amp; upper lid. Then use a sponge or Q-Tip to blend %26amp; soften the liner under your eye. After doing that, apply the same liner to that little white line right under your eyeball. For a shadow, try to find a mushroom or deep grey shade %26amp; apply it to your upper lid. Make sure you go a little PAST the crease in your upper lid, as it will look too severe if you stop there. Try to follow the natural bone shape of your upper eye. Then use a soft, lighter shade to highlight just under your brow. If you use a very neutral, candelight shadow to highlight your brow line, you can use a little more to highlight the top of your cheek bones where they curve up to your temple.

Most of all though, have fun w/ it!! Don't forget a neutral gloss %26amp; lipliner.
smoky eye affect would look great!!
i would go with darker eyeshadow that emphasizes your eyes, or a dark pink going up into a light pink closer to your eyebrow.
For one, because you have kind of greenish eyes (I'm a green-eyed girl myself) eyeshadow that is a greyish purple (think lavender flowers) will really make your eyes pop. Throw on some black mascara and you're good to go. Because you have dramatically colored hair compared to your skin tone, and cool colored eyes, I would play up the eye make up and go pretty neutral on the lipstick. It would give you a dramatic look. :)

Try a smoky eye with eye liner to make ur eyes pop.
lorel ';seafoam green'; infinite eyeshadow. its blueish greeninsh and a hint of gray and its beutiful.its in a little gold case and it will make you gorgues.
Well, eyeliner is a must, without seeing you for real I dont know if it would look better thick or thin, you should probably use brown, and brown mascara. but green eyeshadow seems like it would go nicely with your eyes or a pink color. since you are so pale use a bronzer as well, makes you look very nice(i am SO pale and I use bronzer almost everyday because I think I look sick without it. also there are some eyeshadow sticks you can buy at walmart, i think they are maybelline. they have many different colors. and they are DURABLE it will stay on all day and eyeshadow stays on well if you put it on top of that. that will give you beautiful eyes, and kind of make you look exotic:) and blush and lip gloss are musts as well :) have fun
Try something on your eyes in the gray tones and see how that works with your hair and eye color. It might just make them stand out in a different way.
try some neutral colors and a lip color that pops

with your blue eyes wear eyeliner on the top of your eyelids

Ok, you should go with a median Blue, because from the sound of the description, or, another good color would be a gray, that would be a really good color. Wear some Black mascara. Mascara is always good. Also, dont forget the eyeliner!

Help me now please..what makeup to use?

I dont usually wear any makeup but Im attending a wedding soon ..and I'm one of the bridesmaid,My dress is light pink and I'll be wearing a necklace, clip earrings and putting my black long hair down..I have have dark brown eyes,I need some tips on what makeup to use(like what kind:blush,eyeshadow..and what color will look best) Please put in detailsHelp me now please..what makeup to use?
Ahh! I have the perfect answer for you! :) Lol. Alrighty, well it depends on the boldness of your makeup hun. I would suggest one of these two.

If you don't want to spend to much time on it: Use a light, shimmery pink shadow across the whole eye lid, and a light brown across the top of that color, jut above the lid. It gives the illusion that the eyes have a shadow hanging over then, and the contrast on the two colors really make the eyes stick out!

Now..what I do :) If you want to be more creative. (Sutler look)

Use almay's intense i-color trio for green eyes (about 4 bucks or so) Its a gorgeous combo. And not to complicated. You line the top and bottom of your eyes with the deeper shade of green. Then, brush the lighter shade across the lids. With the plum color, brush that along the top of the lids, not to dark! Just enough to see the color. Again, the light and dark colors really help together. Last, sweep a little of the lighter green right under your brow, it makes then look more arched.

This is how mine usualy comes out, to give you an idea. Hope it helps ya, lemme know! :)

were brown eyeliner,pink%26amp;brown eyeshadow, and lipgloss that macthes ur skin.
    I'm Asian as well!

Your eyes will look nice with a lot of earth tones, plus a little bit of pinks to compliment that dress of yours.

Doing your eyeliner, bring the line out a little past the edge of your lid (like a cats eye) it will add mystery, and make your eyes bold. Using a dark gray eyeliner is good as well. It is strong enough to stand out, and soft enough not to overpower your eyes. (Try MAC; phonenumber)
    any
I think your best bet would be to go to your local department store or even better a sephora if there is one near you and talk to an expert. They will even do your makeup for you for free and help you pick out the colors that will best suite your needs and teach you how to apply it.

As far as brands of makeup go i feel the best universal brand is Mac. However, seeing you don't normally where makeup you may want to consider a more earthy line such as Trish Macavoy, Orgins or even Clinique will do the trick.

If you end up going the drug store route if you have long black hair and are wearing a pink dress i think your best bet is to do a smokey eye, lightly bronzed cheek and a nude lip.

for the eyes start of with a base color like a cream or off white and apply it to your entire eye lid (brow to lash) you will then need either a light brown or gray in which you will only want to apply lightly from the crease of your eye to the lash line. This should be followed by using a dark brown, gray or even purple(compliments pink well) in the crease to do this you will need a small contouring brush. Finish with eye liner and of course and most importantly mascara!
NATURAL, POEPLE!!! Life doesn't have to be so complicated hiding your face. They were fine and pretty back then, did they die? No. In fact, they loved the beautiful clors their mammas gave them. Who the heck uses money for colored powder and changes their beautiful skin tone? This is your LAST chance, girl, save it for more valuable stuff like clothes to make that NATURAL skin glow!! Believe me, you'll feel better knowing that poeple love you for you, not for powders and pencil shavings. Espesially if you're Asian (they're so pretty =3).But if you really don't wanna be like that, and if you wanna put some powdery chemicals on your face, use Mary Kay. Use a little as posible, ESPESIALLY at a wedding!!
by your description and yuor yahoo pic. i would suggest any dark hues of pink or like a chocolate brown for eyeshadow. Blush, for a more natural look do brown. Remember you don't want to outshine the bride herself.
    Since you don't wear makeup, go really light on it even for this special occation. Mascara (black or brown), and lip gloss (clear, or lightly tinted) might be all you need. Go to a salon and get your eyebrows groomed, and if you opt to use blush and eyeshadow, go for more neutral colors (browns, beige, peach blush), and again, go really light on the makeup. Feeling comfortable will make you prettier than feeling like you've got on your ';clown face';
Go to the Clinique counter and have them help you apply. Just explain you don't wear makeup and you would like it to look light and natural. They will usually do it for free in hopes you buy something. If you like, just buy the lipstick so you can apply throughout the day and the powder to keep you looking fresh.
    If you can:

Go to a cosmetic counter three to four hours before the wedding. Show them the colors you are wearing, BUT tell the person that you don't want too much makeup,(you don't want to look like a clown or Picasso's painting) but just to make you look like you have a glow and rested with a little shimmer.

It takes about three hours for the makeup to set.
    i dont know

I need HELP with eye makeup:?

I am blonde w/ reddish light skin. My eyes are bluish-green (they change colors but i want them to be blue!) and when i put on eyeliner, either it doesn't stay on and i looked washed out or i put on too much and i look like um.... a racoon =/ I have the eyelights mascara for blue and i LOVE it. But i have 3 dollar store eyeliners- blue silver and black. HELP!!!I need HELP with eye makeup:?
get a small eyeliner brush and some clear mascara

use the brush and the mascara to seal in your eyeliner

this way it wont smudgeI need HELP with eye makeup:?
I would put eyeliner on your top lids, not bottom because that would make your eyes look small. put on eyeshadow that would match your personality but don't put on a lot. (ex: Dark green, Medium green, Light green.) Put the darker color right above your eyelashes, then the medium color in the crease of your eye and then the lightest color on the very top near your brow. You can also put the medium color of eyeshadow on the bottom of your eyes. If the eyeliner comes off easy, try cover girl mascara and eyeliner and try water proof. the water proof wont come off easy and will stay on for a few days.if you put on a lot of eye makeup, put on a light blush and a lip juicer or chap stick. Don't wear a color lipstick/lip gloss.
Sephora i find is great for makeup.

Although it is quite pricey.. you can still find some REALLY good makeup and M.A.C is very good too (still really expensive though)

I used to buy makeup like that and it didnt work either so i tried buying some more expensive things.. I am currently using lots of Dior wich is good.. I would also want to try ';make up for ever'; Its really good...

I find when ever the makeup goes more expensive its because its gonna work really well. It sucks i know! but i never found good cheap makeup..

    hope this still helps!
For your skin try some tinted moisturizer to even it out. As for your liner running, try a primer for your lids, i love MAC's paints, it helps my shadow and liner stay on all day, but if you want something more affordable try putting a little concealer over your lids then some face powder-pressed or loose over that, it should help your liner stay.
For your eyes to look blue for the most part.. use a BROWN Eyeliner. M.A.C. has a couple really good ones and if you want to go to a drug store... Longs Drugs has a brand called Prestige and they don't smudge either. Good Luck
the key is do not put so much on natural is what u want just dab powder under your eyes and then dab masscara on the bottom lashes for a natural look use brown masscara and then apply masscara on top lashes then put on a white eye shadow and bam goodbye raccon and smudges
You need to be willing to spend some more money on some quality eyeliner. You don't have to buy the $20 ones, but brands such as Cover Girl and Revlon should be fine. Look for a waterproof/smudge proof one.
There are a couple different solutions

    1) get pencil liner, not liquid

    2) get a nice quality eyeliner that will be more expensive, but work!

    ie: Loreal paris eyeliner
don't use the brush given to put on liquid liner. get an angled brush. lightly dab it around your eyes. it should stay on all day.
you need to use a cream eyeliner. one that is not so expensive is Loreal HIP, they have good black and brown eyeliners

Use some eyeliner. Black if you have black hair and brown if you have blonde/brown/etc hair. But only use a little..too much will not be natural.

For your eyeshadow use a little bit of peach, brown, or pink. Gloss should be shiny and maybe a little pink.
GO TO A MALL DEPARTMENT STORE AND THEY WILL PICK THE SHADE THAT MATCHES YOUR SKIN BEST. THEY WILL ALSO PUT IT ON FOR YOU AND SHOW YOU HOW TO PUT IT ON.

*TRY GOING TO MACY'S OR DILLARDS
i used to have the same problem i was always trying to use my moms makeup 1st tip is dont use someone elses foundation choose your own theres one problem with going to one of the more expensive stores for that kind of thing they are expesive if you want to do it without all that fuse you can take a girlfreind to the mall walmart whatever and they usually have a shade selection area put the card by your face and see if it works for you one thin that you may be having a problem with is the amount you put on you usually dab it on in small amounts then use an aplicator sponge or your fingers the sponge gives more flawless coverge and more even never pull down when you put it on always go out and up
Go to a department store, and see the times that they give out free makeovers, and make an appointment for yourself.

Only buy one of their items (I would say foundation) and go looking for the rest at a drugstore. Most eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara colors are the same. You can save a lot of money that way, or you can buy it all the expensive way.

    Best of luck

  • I love makeup! But can someone PLEASE help me with my first makeup bag????

I want to purchase makeup but i get so confused at the store when i go. Which makeup do i keep in my purse and what to i keep in my cosmetic bag at home. Someone PLEASE help!!!!I love makeup! But can someone PLEASE help me with my first makeup bag????
Makeup bag: Mascara, variety of neautral, colorful, and sheer eyeshadows, colored lipgloss, clear lipgloss, bronzer, brown eyeshadow, concealer, an eyebrow/eyelash brush, a make up sponge, foundation, eyelash curler

Purse: concealer for touch ups, lipgloss, and a cheaper mascara for touch upsI love makeup! But can someone PLEASE help me with my first makeup bag????
I actually take my makeup bag WITH me wherever I go.

I'll leave it in the car, etc, but not when it's super hot, or your cosmetics will melt.

Only put in your purse the items you will probably need for retouching during the day. You can change this out daily if you do your makeup differently each day.

Good luck, and hope I helped. :)
you keep what you need throughout the day in your purse and the rest of it in your cosmetic bag.
It will depend if you have oily skin and will need to touch up powder throughout the day (or Mary Kay has beauty blotter which are disposable tissues). Then you can also get a compact that will hold 3-5 eye shadows and a lipstick or lip gloss. And then an eyeliner and mascara.
You put makeup that you know you will need to reapply during the day in your purse %26amp; makeup that you you won't use during the day in your cosmetic bag at home. I had the same prob. when i started wearing makeup.
The only makeup you need in your purse is what you need to retouch. Your makeup bag is for all your makeup when your not using it.
Yea i had that problem when i first started wearing makeup lol....b4 i knew it i was carrying arouns practically luggage full of all my makeup. But i suggest bareminerals, it very very good for your skin. And I only keep a little oil removing power, and lip gloss with me for little touchups.
BOO BOO LISTEN: 2 TUBES OF MASCARA: 1 FOR LENTH, AND 1 FORTHICKIN. 2 LIP GLOSSES, AND 1 CHAP STICK (THERES A DIFFRENCE) 1 EYELINER PENCIL-COLOR OF UR CHOICE.

NOW, THESE SHOULD BE IN BOTH UR BAG AT HOME AND UR BAG U KEEP WITH U. TRUST ME!! I KNOW!! AND AS FAR AS WHERE TO GET UR MAKE-UP...SIMPLE-WALMART!!
You only take with you lip gloss and eyeshadow in your purse. The rest stays at home.
First of all know which brand you like , second know which makeup you can't live without, eyeliner,mascara,....those will stay in your purse the rest of your bag stay home.

    good luck
get a shade lighter for eye shadow and some foundation.

    maybe some eyeliner or mascra.

    and a clear lip gloss.

    %26lt;3
I carry all my makeup in a small makeup bag. That way I can grab it and carry it in the car with me when I'm in a hurry and not finished. Just pick a bag that's shallow and wide, not tall and deep, or stuff will constantly be lost in the bottom. As far as what I take in my purse, I usually do powder, a concealer if I'm having a bad face day, and lipgloss, maybe eyeshadow. You'll figure out what you need after you go out a few times.
    It depends on

How much you like to wear

If you give your self touch ups or not

    What you like to use

    Purse

    - Foundation powder (if you use liquid and concealer and you give yourself touch ups often it goes in your purse if not leave it at home)

    - Mascara

    -Lipgloss/ Lipstick %26amp; Chapstick / Balm

    -Eyeliner (if you use any)

-Eyeshadow (if you use it and if you have that perfect shade or pallette that you use every day and it goes with anything it goes in your purse. if not pick your shade for the day you pick your clothing)

-Dont forget your tools like shadow and lip brush

If you need help picking out makeup that you can ware on a daily basis the cover girl link will do it or you can visit you local MAC or Sephora and just purchase what you know youll wear on a daily basis and remember keep it natural

I do makeup for Weddings, Sweet 16 and sometimes I'm there to give them touch ups sometimes i need to set up their makeup bags so they can give themselves touch ups through out the day. so good luck if you need anyhelp let me know
    I carry:

    eyeliner in black

    2 shades of gloss

    2 lipsticks

    highlighter for cheekbones

    bronzer

    concealer

At home i keep foundation, eyeshadows, and the rest. Hope this helps.

Also a really good site for make-up for young women is www.meetmark.com it's avons young people line.
Keep a make-up case at home with all of your basic products in it, applicators, brushes, etc. Carry a cosmetic bag in your purse with what you usually need to use or reapply during a typical day, pressed powder, lipstick, oil-blotting papers, lip balm, whatever you need.
put all of ur makup in ur makup bag but when ur going out just throw some lipgloss and maybe your mascara in ur purse so that u can touch up ur makeup every once in a while...hope i helped

line your eyes subtly with black eyeliner, then apply some volumizing mascara. use some pink/peach blush on the apples of your cheeks and bring it up to your temples, then on your lips apply a nude or peach coloured lipgloss.

you could also try brown eye makeup, annd then have sheer red lipgloss, it looks classy and sophisticated.

you could also try coloured eyeliners, purple suits most colour eyes and goes with silver. keep your lips a nude, understated colour if the emphasis is on eyes. Hott makeup for a dance. help?

If the color is not right, you should return it. It may not be the next lighter shade that you need. Or, you may just need a different blush. They have an excellent return policy. I know because the first time I bought Studio Fix, it was the wrong color.

When I apply makeup to my face (concealer/foundation) it looks flakey and uneven, HELP!?

i can't apply makeup without it looking clumpy, uneven, blotchy, i can't even get it to cover up the areas i want it to cover (like blemishes and acne!) AHHH! HELP PLEASE!!When I apply makeup to my face (concealer/foundation) it looks flakey and uneven, HELP!?
The best thing to do is not use liquid face make up. For one, they clog your pores and cause the acne you want to cover up. If you do need to cover acne, i recommend you use concealer a skin tone lighter than your own. Then i think you should use face powder. If your looking for a bronzer, i recommend Hoola by Benefit, available at sephora for 28 dollars. If you just want to even out skin tones, i recommend Mac face powder. I hope i have helped you, and if you need anything else, email me at laurenhasspoken@yahoo.com and tell me your from the yahoo blog. When I apply makeup to my face (concealer/foundation) it looks flakey and uneven, HELP!?
exfoliate your face for the flakes and for the acne and blemishes, dab concealer on it first
foundation needs proper application..see some applying tips

Lauren, it sounds to me like your skin care is lacking. Get rid of your imperfections (blemishes/acne) don't try to cover them! Next, choose a foundation that closely matches your natural skin tone - you shouldn't have to use very much. I like aularale.com/7002. Choose the skin care for your skin type (normal/dry or oily). Use it faithfully morning and night and include the vitamin c serum before moisturizing. Your skin will shape up in no time. Of course your diet must also be a good one - fresh fruits/veggies and lots of water must be consumed. Good skin comes from the inside out.
use a lotion or primer before you put on your concealer/foundation so you get more even coverage and also try using one of those green concealer sticks that are made for covering redness and then just use your foundation over it :)
it sounds like you are using something too dry for your face... look for one with moisturizers... and sunscreen.. go one shade darker than your complexion (and use cover stick first for any problem areas).. avoid powder unless you must - that can cause flakes too. Oh, and always, make sure you bring it down, to your neck area just a little so there is no line at the base of your face.
I feel you! Same problems... forever. Doesn't matter how many treatments I buy or books I read. However -- I've learned to work with acne (and lessen it to a great extent) and look nice with makeup on:

    1. I think exfoliants are bad... especially on acne. It only seems to make the acne sores/areas worse. Use only every once in a while if you feel like you really need it.

    2. Make sure that before you apply makeup that you've washed your face (I like Neutrogena Deep Cleanser [cream]) and applied moisturizer. I like to use Neutrogena's Acne Moisturizer because it includes a small amount of salicylic acid which helps fight acne all day.

    3. Use a liquid foundation, not a concealer/foundation combo. I do this because it makes it a lot easier to blend the acne areas with the non-acne areas.

    4. Personally, I love CG Smoothers (cover girl) ';All day hydrating make--up';. They have many colors to choose from and it's easy to apply and blend (I use well-washed finger tips) and it doesn't clog pores.

    5. Powders are bad for flaky skin. But, because I love the extra shimmer they offer I use a bronzer (specifically, TruBlend by Cover Girl). I use it after apply foundation and through the day to freshen makeup and reduce shine but it also creates a subdued sparkle. I like it, maybe you don't. I would recommend carrying some sort of light powder which can absorb oil as you apply it during the day as needed.

    6. You may have to find your own tricks through trial and error, but with these few items I've lessened my acne and made what little exists much less noticable with my makeup on.
Make sure that you have exfoliated (i.e., removed all dead skin cells with a gentle scrub, AHA product, or any good cleanser) the night before. In the morning, wash your face and apply your foundation/concealer to clean skin or apply a primer before your concealer. TIPS: make sure your not applying too much, start with a little, use a brush or wet sponge to assist you with your application. It is important to pick the right color and a water-based formulation if acne is a concern--%26gt; try a cream-to-powder foundation --%26gt; they are easy to apply for beginners....
Neutrogena sells an at home microdermabrasion kit for around $30.00. It removes dead skin cells and rejuvenates skin making it glow. I have read reviews and it appears to do the trick. Good luck.
First of all make sure you skin is clean and dry.

Then make sure it is moisturized.

Then put concelor on your problem spots.

Then its time for your foundation. If you are having

problems with blotches, and uneven coverage, use

a bigger applicator. Like loose powder with a round

    pad it comes with.
