I need to know what eye shadow color to wear with my formal dress.

I have green eyes and brown hair just incase you need to know.Help with eye makeup?

earth tones I think will look good. Like browns...but maybe a light blue instead?
that is a nice dress but find a light color cause you don`t want to throw the dress off

Earth tones, neutrals. Layer different shades of brown and taupe over the eye.


Try to stay away from eyeshadows that are matchy-matchy with clothing. Most people have a tendancy to acociate that with bad '80's style.

the thing is not about the dress.....its mostly about your skin tone....but u sort of have to mix and match......if u have dark skin wear something not to warm but just in the middle....same thing if u have very white skin......

I was looking at the same dress to wear for a wedding, it's beautiful. The color is pretty so let the dress do the talking. Keep makeup clean and fresh. Use a sheer coral lip gloss and use a lighter shade of bronze on the lid with just a little bit of black liner smudged in the lashes. Highlight the browbone with a highighter. Use a little bronzer on your cheekbones and lots of mascara! Have fun!
The dress is beautiful first of all, personally I would go with earth tones. Try finding an eye quad with gold, bronze, and copper. The copper would be your main color which should be worn on the part of the eye from the lashline to the curve of the brow bone. You could compliment this by adding just a bit of bronze to the outer eyebrow area just under the arch and finally add gold from the inner corner of the eye to just where the eyebrow arches. I feel this will bring out yours eyes and compliment the dress well and it is not too overdone. Finish the look by adding a glossy lip color of your choosing but it should be mild, maybe a coral or something in that family. You will be beautiful. Have fun.

I'd choose a very soft smudgy brown eye liner, and a soft peach eye shadow. Maybe with some gold shimmer for the underbrow. Pretty dress!
