Help someone? with makeup ideas?

Okay, I'm going shopping soon for a whole bunch of new makeup.

Mostly because I'm getting bored of the stuff I have, I want to be able to do new stuff with my makeup.

So can anyone tell me any ideas for what I can do every day?

For like going out?

Special occasions?

And also, what makeup brand is the best to use?

Thanks :)Help someone? with makeup ideas?
There are amazing makeup brands out there, from the cheapest e.l.f. to the most expensive M.A.C, it's all your preference.

I'm a M.A.C. addict, so I would definitely recommend them. NYX is also excellent. It all depends on the money you have.

A cheaper option is e.l.f. at http://www.eyeslipsface.com where everything ranges from 5 to 1 dollars.

Some makeup essentials would definitely be..

a concealer/powder/light foundation or some other kind of cover-up

a few neutral eye shadows

a black eyeshadow

a white eyeshadow

a blush

a mascara

an eyeliner

a light lip gloss

Of course you can get MANY contouring and bronzing products, bold, brightly colored eye shadows, and a million different shades of lip gloss and lipsticks, but those are just some simple basics.

As for looks, it depends what you like, but here's my general idea. feel free to add different colors and tweak the style.

Everyday-

Eyes - Put a neutral, light color on the lid. You can play with different colors too. Smudge a darker brown or black in the crease and out in the corner of the eye. If you'd like, add an eyeliner and mascara, just something simple.

Face - Put just a sheer foundation, or whatever coverage is best for you. A bit of bronzer on the cheekbones, nose, chin, and forehead. BLEND! Blush is great too.

Lips - Just wear a light lip gloss, nothing flashy. Or a nude lip.

Going out

Eyes - There's always the classic smokey eye, it all depends on what you like. Try a smoked out look with color, or go with a bright dramatic color on the ete. There are endless possibilities for going out looks.

Face - Use whatever your normal foundation is, and you don't want bronzer at night. Blush is always great.

Lips-Do a bright fun lip! You're going out. Again, color possibilities are endless. A red lip is always fun. There are some great tutorials on youtube on how to get the perfect red lip.

Special occasions -

Eyes - You can always go for a neutral look, or have fun with something new. Just use colors that don't clash with your outfit, but don't match them either. My favorite look for special occasions is a neutral pink on the eye, and a light brown in the crease, and light eyeliner.

Face - You don't really want anything too flashy.'

Lips - Keep it simple, or coordinate them with your eyes.

Takeaway Tips:

-Keep it simple

-Know how to do something properly before you do it.

-Line your lips to prevent feathering.

-Never match your makeup to your outfit.

-Get the basics, and splurge on a few fun lipsticks and eye shadows

-Brushes are crucial, make sure they work well.

-Use a light eye shadow on the brow bone to define your eyes and brows.

-Use a white eyeliner on the water line for bigger eyes, and black on the water line for smaller eyes.

From your picture it looks like you use a lot of eyeliner. well if you want to change it up, use less eyeliner and more shadow.

For day time use a lighter shadow, a light on the center corner on eyes, and slightly darker in the farthest part of eyes and the eye lid crease.

For night time use a darker shadow to create smoke eyes, if you have blue/green eyes you need less then if you have brown. for blue use more silver or grey and a little black at the corners,

If brown use more black and a little of grey or sliver shadow.

Make sure if you do smoke eyes you don't use any dark color on lips because it makes people look like they are wearing to much makeup -sort of drag queen-ish. use a nude or light pink-or natural lip color lipstick/lip gloss.

Special occasions use some fun colors in the eyes. Play up the eyes and it will make you look like you are dressing fro a special occasion. Don鈥檛 do it often so it is only for special occasions. for example.

like a light purple or blue in center of eyes, or doe eyes (style eyes big dark lashes on top and mostly none on bottom, or the twiggy eyes, dark long lasses on top and bottom.

colver girl or maybelline or if you want better quality Sephora

-Doe eyes look great with red lips or a darker pink-

-doe eyes-

I love the 3 shades of eyeshadow that complement certain eye colors.

also i use an illuminator powder and a just touch of blush.

i do not use foundation of any kind, i think the natural face is best.

MAYBELLINE :) or COVERGIRL. but i also use a lot of wet and wild, and you can get a fairly good quality brand with less money. and especially for young people, more for less is good!

most days i use a crayon kinda eyeliner
Most products have the same ingredients. Use a water base or or a base that is non pore clogging or do not use it at all for the skin needs to breathe. Use a liner that works best with your coloring. There are plenty of books on this subject. Some men like natural looks and too much make up makes some people look like a clown. Practice in front of a mirror with a hand mirror to view all sides of your face. Learn to like your insides first for beauty is as beauty does.
i would get revlon color stay liquid eyeliner a nude lipstick a bright Pink lip gloss a brownish tan blush copper eye shadows and a very good mascara
