Help with Fairy makeup ????

I want to be a purple midnight fairy for halloween, but i dont know how to do my makeup. Does anyone have and sugguestions and pictures. i have checked google and cant find anything good. I want lots of glitter too =]Help with Fairy makeup ????
try lining a pearly shimmery (try lavender) eyeshadow/ eyeliner the inner corner of upper and lower of your eye. blend it towards your nose. it will enhance your eyes and make them very noticeable.

try pearly white eyeshadow on the entire lids and blend it well with lavender cream shadow on your lids (the outer corner of your eyes).

to make your cheeks appear slimmer, clench your cheeks and then wipe blush along the clenched parts upwards. use 2 shades darker than your skintone blush. find one that compliments your skintone.

sweep powder with glitters on your face with a big round makeup brush.

use very glittery lipgloss

good luck!Help with Fairy makeup ????
Oooh this sounds fun:)

Lips: Keep the lips pale, but use a lilac-coloured gloss with shimmer if possible.

Cheeks: Keep the cheeks pale, in fact if you can find a silvery white powder puff I would use it on the cheeks and all over.

Eyes: You'll need a few colours of eyeshadow-a light purple (my favourite is Lancome Colour Design in Pretty Pretty), a brighter purple (MAC Stars 'N Rockets is a good one), a white (Lancome Colour Design in Daylight), and a dark purple eyeliner. If you can find Jerome Russell Pixie Sparkle anywhere, I recommend that, because it is fairly inexpensive. There is also the Jerome Russell Graffiti Glitter-I would go the opal.

Anywhoo for the eyes, your first step would be to sweep the light purple all the way from the base of the eyelid to the brow. Then take the bright purple and sweep on the actual eyelid, making sure to blend at the crease. You will want to put the white on the lower lid-the reason why I say white is to maintain the ethereal effect of the faerie. Don't have it be like a stripe of white though-sweep it on and then pat it several times to downgrade the intensity. Then use the eyeliner and do it around the top and the bottom, right around the lashline, but keep it thin. Then go over it with the glitter gel. If you do find the loose glitter, sweep it on over the white shadow, going up to the corner of the brow.

A final tip, if you are going to be a midnight faerie...get some eyelash glue and some small rhinestones from a craft or fabric store and maybe do a pattern. You could do something where you have a sort of ';v'; starting between your brows and then gradually going up but with curliques at the ends (for this one, don't go too far, maybe 3'; on each side, and keep the v on the flatter side). You could also randomly place some on the skin to the sides of your eyes.
The midnight fairy wears BLACK not purple...that's for a start. You will have to adapt your idea.
Hey hon. A couple things that would be helpful are missing from your question. How bold/understated do you want your make-up to be? Do you need something waterproof and durable for a full night of dancing, or will it not be tested to any extremes? In any case, definitely something to think about...

But to answer your question, there are a few products that might be helpful for you. A huge trend this season, are the sparkly, ethereal loose eye and body powders. Benefit and M.A.C. both make great versions.

Start with a really good moisturizer (since all the make-up is going to wreak havoc on your skin) and a nice make-up primer. I always use benefit's Dr. Feelgood, which helps smooth and makes a nice flawless base for any foundations you may wear.

If you want to try a lot of the really sparkly loose powders for color, try to find a nice eye base for them to settle into. Cream shadows make an excellent base, and will either pump up the color dramatically or add a nice color-changing effect if you put a silver shimmer powder over a dark plum creme, for example. If you feel like making a strong statement, grab a great eyeliner pencil in a lavendar or purple, and do a nice line on the top lid. Wrap it around the corner of your eye, and try running the pencil in curls over your brow and down your cheek. If you have a smudge tip for eyeliner, gently smudge the line till you reach the texture you want.

The loose powders can be applied on top of the line to add sparkle in certain places, or can be applied directly to the foundation (for oomph in color and staying powder) before you draw the line. Great options would be white, golds, silvers. Also nice on the bridge/tip of the nose, brow, and forehead.

Add rhinestones, fake lashes with metallic or jewel accents, and a nice dusting of sparkly body powder to finish.

Oh, and the googling for make-up ideas directly is very rarely as helpful as it should be. Try looking up designer runway shows, fashion magazine print ads, and googling runway make up artists. You can find their portfolios and take a peek at some marvelous make-up technique.

Good luck, hon. And remember, if you're going to be in a packed nightclub, be mindful of the wings behind you. I can't say how many times I've been smacked in the face by someone who wasn't paying attention to how much space their wings took up as they passed...
I would wear A LOT of eyeshadow. for your costume maybe purple or black (or both)? and put glitter over that and on your cheeks, arms, chest, hair. I would wear blush too, make it noticable too. And dakr lipstick maybe? also mascara and black/purple/silver eyeliner.

oh, and you could make some swirly pattern or something at the corner of your eyes with eyeliner. or just make a 'point' at the corner, if the makes sense. just do something drastic.
maybe add glitter

just so you know, the saleswomen at the mall make-up counters are really good at ';making up'; faces. the best part, it's free. maybe you should take a picture of what you want there and have it done (again, for free)
CUte! my friend was tinkerbell 2 years ago. Wear eyeliner and mascara and put on some glittery black eye shadow and fade it to glittery purple shadow. Get sticky rhinestones from a fabric store and use it as face jewelry around your eyes! SOOO CUTE!
Apply bark navy blue eyeliner to the upper lid of your eye. Then use dark purple eyeshadow for the lid, and lighter purple for above. Using a brush for blush, put the eyeshadow on your cheeks to taste. Use purple lipstick.

I was a purple fairy one year too. This really works, and its fun to put on. You can add some of your own touches too

Oh... you want glitter. Get cheek glitter, and apply a lot of it. Get purple sparlkes at the craft store and sprinkle them on your head. Use puprle sparkle nail polish on your hands.

Tip: Put down a sheet, shut your eyes, then pour the sparkles on your head and body. Shake, pour more on, there you are!

Hope this Works: Serra Star
Try youtube.com and search they have allot of cool makeup video tips on there and you might find something that goes well with your costume.
You could try to do some designs with eyeliner on your temples and use bright, multi-colored eye shadows.
First go to the store to find anything that has...

Wings

Glitter

And lots of eye makeup

Put LOTS of eye makeup OVER you eyes.
