Help cleaning my makeup brushes!!!?

I have a beautiful range of Bobbi Brown and MAC makeup brushes.

A few weeks ago I washed one of them in hot soapy water and rubbed it after with a towel. It got ruined :0(

Can anyone tell me the best way to clean all my brushes without damaging them?Help cleaning my makeup brushes!!!?
Use MAC brush cleanser. It cleans your brushes and conditions them at the same time. GOOD brushes are expensive, so don't ruin them.

p.s. after you cleaned your brushes, gently pat them with a towel/tissue and leave it on a dry towel to dry.Help cleaning my makeup brushes!!!?
go to Walgreens and get some brush cleaner...its only a few bucks and its with the brushes and tweezers, stuff like that
Well you were on the right path, except instead of rubbing them dry you should have let them air dry. Also what I do is either use a make-up remover, or a cleansing oil (DHC CLEANSING OIL..it's simply magical for your face and brushes), and you let the brushes sit in the solution for at least 2 hours, then you rinse with hot water, blot the brushes gently on the towel and then let them hang dry.
Clinique has a great makeup brush cleaner.
Just put it in a bowl with cold wather,,soap and a tea spoon of veneger during 30 minutes.Rinse, put it on top of a towel, and leave it alone to dry up.
take a tall, plastic container and fill it with warm soapy water, let the brush(es) sit in there for 2-3 days, and make sure you change the water every day, then take them out and PAT them dry, and then let them sit around to dry in your bathroom for a day or to, then ready to use!
i like to use a real cleaner for cleaning expensive brushes. i like smashbox brush cleaner you can find it at sephora.com if you don't have a store by you. and its only like $15.
So what you do is wash with warm water and liquid soap. NEVER soak brushes because it loosens and weakens the glue holding the bristles in. Let them air dry in a container(I use a cylinder candle holder) with the bristles up. Good luck!!
um,,,, rub the end on a towel or something
Eye make-up cleanser is gentle and efficient in getting my make-up brushes clean. Leave them soaking in warm water with a blob of this for 10 or so minutes to lift and loosen dirt and then clean them with your fingers. Rinse them with warm water. Dab them with a towel and let them dry naturally.
The best way to clean a make up brush is Caring for Makeup Brushes - Run the makeup brush under warm water and lather up with baby shampoo. Rinse with cool water.

Dry on a paper towel for at least 24 hours. This is the easiest and cheapest way to care for any type of brush, from nylon to sable. Also you can use your at home face wash or even dishwashing soap.

It is also best to hang larger brushes up so the water can drip and run off of the brush, not leaving any residue behind and this will keep from the water collecting at the bottom and drying the brush out.
