You can change the shade and mix them.

:)

Or you could find a class that talk about that kinda stuff.
go to like bonton and then go to the makeup section and you can pay them to do your makeup you can ask many question, they are very helpful
You have a few options :)

You could sign up for a make-up application class, though those can be expensive.

I've learned a lot about makeup through reading. Allure Magazine is one of my favourites and provides as ton of tips and tricks. The ';Confessions of a Beauty Editor'; book is great!

There are plenty of make-up sites online as well. Allure.com, Seventeen.com, etc. are very helpful.

I've also discovered there are about a billion Beauty Podcasts for FREE (!!) on iTunes. There are ones from practically every major make-up company in North America, as well as podcasts by Allure and other magazines and beauty editors.

Good luck!
JUST DONT CAKE IT ON
Go to the makeup counter at a department store - like Macy's or Dillard's. They do free consultations because they want you to buy their products. Sometimes you have to make an appointment....but just go in on a weekday and talk to them.

And it would be nice of you to actually buy something....
